WHAT IS IN POSE?
IN POSE was originally started as a once a month posing class to help models in the midwest learn posing fluidity and set confidence. Now, we offer a series of classes for models of all ages, body types, and skill levels seeking such guidance in posing and runway walking! We also offer a class for photographers desiring to help their clients pose well and to learn how to interact professionally with clients/models!
OUR "WHY"
In 2018, Chantal Dominique traveled to New York to work as a behind the scenes photographer for Super Model Coco Rocha's modeling camp, now known as Coco Rocha Model Camp! While working with Coco and learning her heart for the younger generations of models, Chantal quickly recognized the same love for the model within her own heart. Coco trains models to see themselves as their own business and brand, while also training them in posing fluidity and self love/respect. In an industry that regularly portrays models as the mannequin, Coco gives the model a voice as a human being.
Upon return to Indianapolis, Chantal quickly recognized the models in Indianapolis and the surrounding cities lacked the opportunity for such training (unless they would travel to New York). She was consistently told horror stories of models being taken advantage of financially and stripped of their ability to say "no" on photography sets. Models of all ages being told they "had" to shoot nudes in order to be fashion models, receiving no payment for 8 hour jobs, and receiving "portfolio work" that was clearly for a business' promotion. Thus, Chantal Dominique started IN POSE!

THIS IS OUR ORIGINAL POSING CLASS BASED OFF OF CHANTAL DOMINIQUE'S EXPERIENCE AT COCO ROCHA MODEL CAMP! THE CLASS RUNS FROM 1:00PM-6:00PM AND INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

STRICTLY POSING
THIS IS OUR POSING CLASS THAT STRICTLY DEALS WITH POSING! MODELS GO THROUGH A SERIES OF WARMUPS, HEAD TO TOE POSING TIPS, PROPS, MODELING AS TEAMS, AND INDIVIDUAL MODELING.
THIS CLASS IS FOR THE MODEL SEEKING A POSING CLASS WITHOUT THE ADDED COST AND WITHOUT THE PHOTOSHOOT! THEY WILL STILL RECEIVE A SET OF DIGITALS! THIS CLASS RUNS FROM 1:00PM-3:30PM!
RUNWAY 101
OUR RUNWAY 101 CLASS IS FOR THE MODELS SEEKING WALKING CRITIQUE, STRUCTURE, AND GUIDANCE! LED BY OUR RUNWAY COACH AND OUR IN POSE DIRECTOR!
MODELS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A SET OF DIGITALS AND PROFESSIONAL DIRECTION! VISIT OUR "MEET THE TEAM" TAB TO LEARN ABOUT OUR RUNWAY COACH AND HER COACHING PHILOSOPHY!
POSING CLASS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
THIS IS A CLASS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS DESIRING TO LEARN HOW TO HELP THIER CLIENTS POSE! THIS CLASS IS MAINLY DESIGNED FOR THOSE PHOTOGRAPHERS WORKING IN THE FASHION/MODELING INDUSTRY; HOWEVER, WE ACCEPT PHOTOGRAPHERS FROM THE WEDDING, COMMERCIAL, AND OTHER INDUSTRIES AS WELL!

DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
YES WE DO! WE HAVE 2 MAIN PLANS AVAILABLE:
PLAN 1 | Pay 2 payments of $245. Tell us what days are good for you! We will send you an invoice with the due date you select. The final payments are due 1 week before your selected class date!
PLAN 2 | Pay 3 payments! The 1st payment will be your largest amount of $245. The 2nd payment $122.50, and 3rd payment $122.50. Tell us what days are good for you! We will send you an invoice with the due date you select. The final payments are due 1 week before your selected class date!
NOTE: You are able to pay the entire payment at once as well!
WHERE IS THE CLASS LOCATED?
We are located in Indianapolis, IN. Our lead educator and photographer, Chantal Dominique, hosts our class in her studio: 1060 N Capitol Ave F140, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
WHEN DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?
Model students (or their agency per request) will receive a contact sheet of images per look (2) to select 6 images from within 2 weeks of the booked class! Once the selection has been made, the images will be edited and delivered within 2 weeks!
HOW MANY IMAGES DO I RECEIVE?
Each model student will receive 6 images (per their/their agency's selection). Additional images may be requested for $20/image.
WHY ARE ONLY 4 MODELS ACCEPTED FOR THE TRADITIONAL CLASS?
We only select 4 models for our traditional class (posing class with the portfolio shoot) to keep each session personal and "small". These classes book fast so schedule now!
ARE PHOTOGRAPHERS ALLOWED TO ATTEND?
Photographers now have the option to join in their own version of our posing class! Visit the tab above "Class Options/Apply Here" then "Posing Class for Photographers" to learn more!
CAN PARENTS/FRIENDS JOIN?
For models under 18 years of age, we request that a parent/legal guardian sign a weaver or attend with the model. Friends are not permitted to join at this time.
